Ogbako Umu Igbo hosted their socio-cultural Igbo-themed event to mingle, support, celebrate and promote the rich Igbo culture and encourage a dynamic relationship between Igbos and Non-Igbos. As one of the proud sponsors of the event, Enugu Lifestyle and Golf City (ELGC) was present to help promote the initiative and share the idea of the "AKULUONO" project with "Ndi Igbo." The idea behind the initiative is to encourage impactful connections while enjoying electrifying displays of the unique culture of the Igbo Land.
We were all dressed in a modern creative Igbo traditional attire or a touch of Igbo style, which is the Isiagu top, usually patterned with lion heads embroidered all over the clothing.
We also hosted some special guests like one of Nollywood finest actors, Nkem Owoh (aka Osuofia), Zoro, Illbliss, Zutyladon, Ijele dance group, Ndi igba, Atilogwu and many more graced the event and entertained our guests with amazing Igbo songs and dances.
The Igbo culture has a trademark for good food, and as such, tasty delicacies like nkwobi, abacha, palm wine, and more healthy delicious meals were served during the event.
As individuals who are proud of their Igbo heritage and culture, we encourage you to maximize this AKULUOUNO promo, take advantage of it, together we will improve the Igbo culture and preserve our land. Now is the time to visualize home, family, and your grassroots. Now is the time to think about investment, growth, Enugu state, and think Enugu Lifestyle and Golf City.
